So sorry

Ok The summer has been crazy. From Family Reunions, to Birthdays, to Scout Camps. UGH but ohhhhh so fun. So I will be back in action at the end of July. I just don't want to miss all the fun with the kids. See ya later, but I promise I will be back.

REALLY!!!

First....something is wrong with my camera. What the. Oh I hate this. I hate it because when it rains it freakin pours. boooooooo Second. This is another thing I have realized a ton. I love doing all these little projects and sharing them, but sometimes I feel a little overwhelmed. Why? Well let me just tell you that I always want to get stuff done so that I can share it, but then at the same time....well for example this week. This week my Daughter is preparing to be in a pageant. Yes I said pageant. I am soooo not a pageant mom. But I felt like I should be supportive of something that she wanted to do. It's kind of taking all my time so all of my extra stuff is shoved to the side. Then I feel like well I haven't showed any projects yet. So I did some projects, but now the camera doesn't work so how in the heck am I suppose to post. I am getting uber frustrated at this moment. booooooo, but mwah none the less.

I swear the summer is going to be hard to get everything done. Why? Because I have 5 cutie patooties that I would rather spend time with. We have been partying like it's no other. I also thought it was a good idea to save some money on my Kilz and bought a big gallon of it. Well then I realized that My compressor wasn't working. So the spray on isn't working yet. I have to borrow a compressor. So I have to prime 5 projects then I have to paint each different colors. Love it, but hate it too because of all the clean up. That is why I love the spray paint out of a can....is it out...yep then toss it. Boo on clean up. Be patient the items are coming. I will post pictures tomorrow of all the items I have and what I want to do.

Really

Ok I am sooo far behind. I know I know. It just seems like when it comes to the end of the school year, the little thing called "My time" gets thrown out the window. Booooo on that crap.
Back to the fun stuff. I went on a little vacay for Memorial day and we did go to some garage sales. Can I just say....That is so much fun with my sisters and mom. We do some drive by shopping. You know what that is. Driving by and seeing if there is anything you can see you want and if not, outta there. Well there were some great finds. I will be redoing some furniture as well as some small decor. Stay tuned.

Apartment fabulous

More stuff from the apartment. Ok This stuff is so cute. It just shows you that you can take something so basic and make it just what you want. Ok check out this cute desk. Now I don't have a before of this desk, but it was just this horrible green color with silver knobs.

Just painted it with the Bahamaus Gold from Krylon and then the chair just black from Krylon. So cute. Ok then I love the new craze of the empty frames. Look how cute this turned out.

Then she bought this basket at DI. Well she need some color. So we painted it. All I am saying is that you can turn anything into some pop of color in your house.

Also this was a blackish color. We bought it at DI. My sister decided that she would paint it orange and look how cute it is. She glazed it as well. Turned out good. Make your home what you want. Now there is a whole lot of color in her apartment. But I do love it. Mwah

HELP

I know this is a newer blog, but I need to get the word out. This beautiful human being is my sister in law. I love her oodles. She is battling MS. For the past 10 years she has been completely dependent on others. I remember she had gotten to a point that she needed help right after she had got married. All the sister in laws took turns going in and helping her. Helping her to get into her wheelchair, help her eat. Help her grab things. This was at the beginning stages of it. All the little things that we take for granted. It seriously broke my heart. She continued to get worse and worse. She has her mother caring for her every day. If someone doesn't help her eat, then she doesn't get to eat. If someone doesn't help her bathe, then she doesn't get clean. Her mother is the researcher of all researchers. Her mother heard a certain diet could help so she put celeste on it. (mind you I would try and sneak stuff for celeste when her mom wasn't looking) Her mother has researched this and found this new treatment. They need help because it is so expensive. Donate. Donate anything you can. Celeste and Matt deserve to have this moment. A moment where she can walk, a moment where she can do things on her own, a moment to be a mother. Be a part of this. This is what I feel like today.

I have way way way too much going on. This is what happens at the end of the school year. YOWZA!
Ok back to furniture redos. So this is one of the latest and greatest projects. Now my sister get these colors. Some of them I am like OH yes!!! Then others I'm like Oh NO!!! She chose a lime green. When she was done with it, it was like neon green. We had to go back and get another color and this is what is came out to look like. I actually uber love it. Thats the great thing about paint, you can re-do. :) mwah!!!
